RIVA AQUARAMA SPECIAL
The name Riva is
synonymous with class, quality and the highest of
European standards. It is an object of desire and an
expression of dreams.
Riva was introduced in 1962. Nine years later, in 1971, the Riva Aquarama Special ended the traditional Italian
mahogany runabouts. There is no doubt that this is a
much sought after boat. Second hand Aquaramas fetch
up to well over $400,000. The last
ones off the production line sold for
$270,000. The boat was 28foot (8.5m) in length and powered with
twin 220 hp engines that gave a max speed of 40
knots.
Always innovating, always ahead of its time, and
always exhibiting a style and quality beyond
comparison, Riva triumphs at all the boat shows and
on all the markets in the world. Kings and emperors,
princes and sultans, actors, sportsmen and
celebrities headed straight to Riva to choose their
boats in the same way as they went to Rolls-Royce or
Ferrari for their cars.
