FLEMING Yacht
Fleming builds the
ultimate cruising yacht for long distance travel on
the ocean. Fleming Yachts is the creation of Tony
Fleming, a man with the skills of an engineer and
the eye of an artist. After 20 years of working for
American Marine, builder of the Grand Banks motor
yachts, Tony founded Fleming Yachts in 1985 and took
his idea of a new pilothouse to Taiwan.
The Fleming's deep
keel provides protection for the running gear and
stability in seas. Because noise and vibration
contribute to fatigue, Fleming has paid special
attention to producing a yacht which has become the
standard in the industry for its whisper quiet, smooth
ride. Fundamental to this achievement is the use
of Aquadrive anti-vibration drive systems. The
intelligent design and high degree of engineering
found in Fleming yachts continues to this day as it
is still run by the Fleming family. The brand has
achieved its goal of producing the ultimate cruising
yacht with vessels that not only have a distinctive,
stylish look but also offer their owners
top-of-the-line accommodations and amenities.
Fleming yacht model line
includes the 55, 58, 65, and 78. The photos on this page
is of Fleming 55 which has a range of 2,000 nautical miles at 8
knots and can attain a maximum sustained cruising
speed of 17 knots. The Fleming 55 was
first introduced in 1986. It is one of the most successful
production yachts in history.
